City TourThis tour combines both the old town and the modern areas. The visit starts in the Historical Center of Santa Cruz, through the main streets of the colonial downtown. You will visit the main Plaza and the most interesting museums around. Then you will enjoy a visit to La Rinconada park, colorful markets, and exclusive neighborhoods.
Today you will visit the ruins of Samaipata, impressive and mysterious excavations carved in stone on top of a mountain with a ceremonial center. After arriving at the village and walking through the place, visit the museum in the area.

City TourThe tour will begin in the afternoon with a visit to Casa de la Libertad, where the Act of Independence of Bolivia was signed in 1825; and then, the Bolivar Park. You will see some examples of the aristocratic tradition of Sucre, represented in small replicas of the Eiffel Tower and the Arc of Triumph of Paris, the church and museum of La Recoleta, and the ASUR Indigenous Art and Textiles Museum.

Transfer to Tarabuco, which is located an hour away from Sucre. This colorful town has one of the best traditional markets of South America. Every Sunday, a big fair is held that has become the first economic and social activity of its people. The dress of the Tarabuqueño – Quechua speakers- has not changed since Inca times. The technique, quality and color stand out in their fabrics.

During the trip to the city of Potosi, you will see different valleys. You will also know the Altiplano, declared Cultural and Natural Heritage by UNESCO. You will have an unforgettable experience at more than 200 meters underground, by visiting the mines of the famous Cerro Rico, once the world's richest mountain, to see the remains of silver production from colonial period. In addition, we will observe the lifestyle and working conditions of Bolivian miners that are still working in that place.

You will visit the famous National Mint of Bolivia, one of the finest museums in South America, where its rooms full of mock-ups, coins and various artifacts will immerse us in a fascinating history of what once was the imperial villa, one of the most populous and important cities in the world. Then visit the craft market, the churches of San Francisco and San Lorenzo In the evening, you will travel by bus to Uyuni, crossing the mountains of the Andes, old mining centers and villages. Upon your arrival, you will be transported to Colchani.

Departure to the Salt Flat visiting the Colchani village where is possible to observe the extracting salt process by hand and the salt local handicrafts. Visit to "Playa Blanca" a museum of salt; "Ojos de Sal", the salt eyes, interesting to be the exit points of the salt water; salt hexagons, geometric shapes on the salt flats surface, piles of salt and we will cross the salt flats to enjoy the beautiful landscapes.
Visit to Incahuasi Island, it is located in the heart of the salt flat and it is the biggest of a group of islands that represents an isolated ecosystem. The island is populated with giant cacti species that measures up to 12 meters high (26.25 feet), providing an impressive overview. Lunh in restaurant or picnic. We carry on Lookout of Ollagüe Volcano, where you can watch its activity and a desert landscape. After that, we take a look to the "Joyas Andinas", Andean Jewelry, small lagoons, which show biodiversity of the region.
Transfer to the hotel in Ojo de Perdiz.
From April to November, dry season, the salt flats surface gives the opportunity to play with photography and perspective. December to March the entire salt flats surface is covered with water and becomes a huge white mirror where the sky is perfectly reflected on the salt flats surface. This scenery is a paradise for photography lovers due to the mirror effects that they can get. We suggest you to wear sandals to enjoy the warm water of the salt.

Breakfast. An early departure from the hotel to begin the visits: the Stone Tree, silent testimony of the erosion of the earth and the passage of the years, part of the Siloli Desert, flatland without vegetation that gives rise to the Reserve Eduardo Abaroa where we visit the Red Lagoon which is an amazing proof of a very diverse ecosystem in a totally desolate weather. We continue to the visit to the geysers "Sol de Mañana", Morning Sun, its name is due to the activity is more notorious in the morning. Also visit the hot springs of Polques, hot water eyes due to the volcanic activity of the region. The Green Lagoon, unique for the active microorganisms that give color to the water. Return to Uyuni we visit the Magic villages of Sud Lípez, the south region outside the Salt Flat; San Cristobal village is known for be a mine center village. After that we visit the Rock Valley, a group of big red rocks which form an interesting landscape. Picnic lunch. Transfer to the hotel.

Tiahuanaco is located 72 km from La Paz; it was one of the oldest centers of the American culture and considered the cradle of the American man - and one of the most developed in its time. Its main buildings are the Temple of Kalasasaya, with its most notable work in the Puerta del Sol (Gate of the Sun), Ponce and Fraile monoliths, Akapana pyramid and Semi-Subterranean Temple.
You will visit the two museums of the place to learn more about their work in ceramics and stone.
Return to La Paz. Upon arrival, a tour for 4 hours through the city, including the area of street markets, full of handicrafts, weavings and witchcraft artifacts. You will go through the colonial part of the city, the church of San Francisco, Plaza Murillo with Congress, the Government Palace and the Cathedral.

Visit Copacabana, one of the main coastal resorts on Lake Titicaca. The journey of three and a half hours is the perfect excuse to enjoy the breathtaking views from the Royal Andean Mountain Range. Upon arrival, you will walk around the city, to visit the black virgin and her beautiful church. Later, you will take an hour boat ride to the port of Huacani at Sun Island, where you can enjoy a typical dish: "Aptapi".

Hike down through Yumani visiting the Inca stairs and the Water of the Eternal Youth, then have a trip north by boat to visit Chincana ruins and the Sacred Rock (1 hour); continue by boat to the Island of the Moon (1 hour) and the Inca ruins of Iñak Uyu temple to finally reach Copacabana (1 ½ hours). Private transportation to Puno or La Paz (3 ½ hours).
