Transfer to Alto-La Paz airport.
Flight to Uyuni.
At 10:00 am, firstly you will travel to South visiting the train graveyard, then on the high plateau you will cross villages like San Cristóbal and Culpina K until reaching the beautiful valleys of Alota (3 hours). Then you will see mountains with a lot of erosion on their stones until arriving to Villamar village (1 hour).

Early morning trip entering the REA (National Reserve Eduardo Abaroa), visiting Laguna Colorada (2 hours), declared a RAMSAR site due to the nesting of over 30,000 flamingos at 4,278 m. Then up to geysers “Sol de Mañana", pass alongside Challviri lagoon, with its hot spring in the shores of Polques. Cross through the high desert of Pampas de Dali, with amazing views, to finally reach Laguna Verde (3 hours), in the foothills of the Licancabur Mountain. Trip back to laguna Colorada, enter the high deserts of Siloli, visiting Arbol de Piedra and finally reach Ojos de Perdiz (4 hours - 4,531m).

Morning trip north through the Hedionda and Cañapa minor lagoons and continue east through branches of the range, reaching the valley of Alota (2 hours). North through the highlands passing the villages of San Agustin and San Juan (2 hours), entering in Chuvica to the great Uyuni salt flat crossing to "Isla Incahuasi" (1 hour), a special habitat of volcanic rocks and giant cactus. Continue east to the village of Colchani (2 hours), where the locals produce salt.

The trip starts at Uyuni, crossing many foothills under Los Andes mountain range. You will pass over Pucalayo, which was in the past one of the most important mining centers. The landscapes throughout the road are beautiful with a variety of colors and shapes made due to erosion. Also you will enjoy during the road, seeing remote towns whose people are fundamentally dedicated to agriculture. Arriving to Potosí and see their famous Rich Hill or "Cerro Rico" from distance is without doubt going back hundred of years, when it was one of the biggest cities in the world (4 hours).

CITY TOURThe city tour includes a visit to the famous House of Coin, very traditional colonial streets and a handcraft market. It also includes a visit to the San Francisco churchs with its remarkable ceilings and the facade of San Lorenzo that has one of the best examples of carved on stone of the baroque half blood style.

This trip will allow you to enjoy and unforgettable journey to hundred of meters underground, to see the life style and work conditions of bolivian miners (the mine will provide you with helmets and special clothes for your safety). The silver mines are inside the famous Cerro Rico, at one time the richest in the world.

POTOSÍ-SUCREIt is three to four hours of journey which begins in the high plateau. Then, descending through valleys that pour out its waters inside the Pilcomayo river, one of the principals tributaries of Río de la Plata. Descending to these valleys, give us a perfect idea of why the spaniards change its houses in the cold Potosí to tempered valleys in Sucre.

The walk includes a visit to: the House of Liberty where it was signed the Declaration of Independence of Bolivia in 1825; the Bolivar Park to see examples of the aristocratic tradition in Sucre with smalls copies of the Eiffel Tower and the Arch of Triumph; the church and museum in Recoleta, and the museum of Native Fabrics of ASUR.

Tarabuco is located at 78 km- 1 hour from Sucre. This colorful population has without a doubt one of the best local markets in South America. They have a big fair all sundays that has become the first economic and social activity of its people. The clothing of the Tarabuqueño (who speaks quechua) has not changed since Inca times. Their fabrics are made with the best technique, quality and color.
