Walk through Qosqo Ayllu and visit to the ALQA Museum with a cultural experience at Casa Inka You will be transferred from your hotel to Qosqo Ayllu, located in the heart of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. The walk to Qosqo Ayllu, the oldest neighborhood in Ollantaytambo, is a unique experience that connects nature, living history, and ancestral culture. This journey takes us along cobbled paths, Inca canals still in use, and alleys that preserve the original layout from Inca times.During the walk, you will appreciate ancient architecture, with cyclopean walls, trapezoidal doorways, and hydraulic systems that still flow with crystal-clear water from the mountains. It is a trip to the past where the living legacy of the Incas and the Andean worldview can be felt. Then, you will continue to the ALQA Museum. The ALQA Museum is a space that challenges the boundaries between tradition and modernity. This unique museum celebrates the richness of contemporary Andean art, bringing together works by artists from different regions of Peru who reinterpret ancestral symbols, materials, and knowledge through a modern lens. More than just an exhibition space, ALQA is a living platform that honors the creativity of Indigenous peoples, promoting dialogue between past and present, between the ancestral and the avant-garde.Finally, you will visit Casa Inka. This is not a museum, but a living home that opens its doors to share history, spirituality, and hospitality. It is an opportunity to learn through direct experience, with respect and reciprocity, in an environment where the past is not frozen in time, but continues to beat strongly. Ideal for those seeking something deeper than a tourist visit: a genuine immersion into the culture that shaped the Sacred Valley. At the end, you will return to your hotel.

The town of Ollantaytambo is a prime example of Inca urban planning, still inhabited much as it was in the past. Pachacutec (1438–1471) conquered the town, destroyed it, and rebuilt it as part of his empire, making it one of the most remarkable archaeological complexes of the Inca period.
The tour continues to Pinkuylluna, an unmissable experience for those who want to explore the majesty of Inca engineering while enjoying spectacular panoramic views of the Sacred Valley. Located on the hillside facing the Ollantaytambo fortress, the archaeological site of Pinkuylluna houses a series of ancient colcas (storage warehouses) that once supplied the Inca population.
The hike to Pinkuylluna is short but intense, with steep trails and rewarding views at every step. As you ascend, you’ll observe the original urban layout of Ollantaytambo, its agricultural terraces, water channels, and the vastness of the surrounding mountains.
Once at the top, visitors can explore the stone storage buildings which, thanks to their strategic location, used the natural airflow to preserve grains and other food supplies. Additionally, carved into the rock near the summit is the profile of a face, known as the “Inca’s face,” which adds a mystical touch to the visit.
This tour combines history, archaeology, adventure, and breathtaking landscapes — perfect for those looking for a short hike filled with cultural and spiritual significance.
