Overnight in Quito
Tour first stop is at San Agustin Church and Convent. This beautiful, 17th century church and adjoining convent is one of the highest examples of Quito architecture and art. The second church you will stop by is Santo Domingo, filled with a variety of priceless Quito Colonial artworks.
Capped by green-and-gold domes, La Compañía de Jesús is Quito’s most ornate church and a standout among the baroque splendors of the Old Town. The afternoon excursion is to “Casa del Alabado”, housed in a stolid-looking colonial era home, this privately owned museum with contemporary-style displays showcases an impressive collection of pre-Columbian artifacts.

You will travel north of Quito to the Land of Lakes. The area is much like a gigantic painting on which the artist has splattered earth tones. There are plenty of cultural experiences since it is rich in tradition, history, culture, and handicraft, you will visit the small, quaint town of Peguche, famous for its community members' skill at handcrafting clothing.

EXCURSION COTOPAXI NATIONAL PARKYou will visit Cotopaxi National Park. From here, weather permitting, you will be able to see the snowcapped summits of both the Cotopaxi and the Antisana volcanoes.
Visit Cotopaxi Interpretation center to learn about the history of its major eruptions as well as the local flora and fauna. Later, you will go to Limpiopungo lake and discover the area by walking around it.

Today you will visit the volcanic crater of Quilotoa with a serene mysterious looking green lake inside. The volcano's bowels 400 m down head towards a deep ascending cut in the rim of the volcano right of the car park or we can walk around the total circumference of the rim (3 hours approximately).

Today is the day for our exhilarating train journey down the Devil's Nose, called the "most difficult train in the world". The railroad was originally built to connect the Andes with the coast, and the route goes up and down steep slopes, along river valleys and has to negotiate a wall of rock called Nariz del Diablo, the Devil's Nose.
INGAPIRCA RUINSYou will drive south to Ingapirca, an Inca astronomical observatory and fortres. This is the most important Inca site in Ecuador, where the Inca and his entourage would rest during trips to this northern part of the Inca Empire.
